Doug Flach was
an All American at the University of Tennessee in 1990.
In 1996 he defeated Andre Aggasi (seeded #3) in the first round at
Wimbledon, and eventually lost in the third round. He
again
defeated Andre Aggasi in 1997 at Washington DC, and had career wins
over Ivan Lendl, Pat Rafter, Gusatvo Kuerten, Karol Kucera, and Thomas
Johansson. He won doubles titles with his brother Ken, Paul
Annacone, Sandon Stolle, and others. He retired in 1999. His brother Ken Flach has now relocated back
home to St. Louis Missouri and is
developing the new Ken Flach Tennis Academy, Ken Flach.com, and
Ken Flach's Tennis The Right Way.com.
